Two Trees In the Garden
I lived in splendor
All was made for me,
But I had to Know,
So I ate from One Tree.
Loving kindness
pushed me away.
No Tree of Life,
In sin to stay.
My choice made
Now incomplete.
For joy, and life,
I must compete.
Eons of toil,
pain for my friend.
Love told me,
It would end.
HE came bleeding,
From Garden past
Fruit on Other Tree,
I might Live at last.
Love mortally wounded,
By rejection so callow,
HE walked The Way
For me to follow.
Rick
I love this! :)
